Option 1
– One 2 hour class

– Four 2 hour classes over 4 weeks

OPTION #1 Have a studio tour.  Have a demonstration on throwing pots.  Make as many pots as you can in the two hours with guidence. Choose only 2 of your favorites to keep and to paint.  We will clear glaze and fire them for you.  We will call you  for pick up in approx 3 weeks.

OPTION #2  Have a studio tour.  Have a demonstration of throwing pots.  Learn to make a cylnder for a mug and learn to make a handle and attach it. You will be trimming your pots.  Make as many pots as you want.  The last class you will choose only 5 of your favorite pots to keep that you will then paint and decorate as you wish.  We will then clear galze and fire the 5 pots for you.   We will call you for pick up in approx. 3 weeks.

DATES:  Dates will be removed when a class is full. If you don’t see your date it’s because it filled.

Teachers:
Robert (Espo) and Wendy Esposito have owned and operated Unity Pond Pottery since 1986. They are both self-taught potters who have made about a zillion pots in their careers. Before Espo met Wendy he owned and operated pottery studios in New Jersey, Virgin Islands and New Mexico. Espo is in his 51st year as a professional potter! They do plan on retiring but not quite yet. They will be around some of the time to join in the fun and share their knowledge.

Elizabeth Radliff will be teaching the Clay Center classes most of the time. She learned how to throw pots in high school. She started working part-time at Unity Pond Pottery almost 25 years ago. About 15 years ago Elizabeth started her own business – Oak Tree Pottery – and is best known for her Birch Stoneware line.
